IMAN, ISLAM, IHSAN, AND THE WORLDVIEW
This educational series explores tawħīd, the foundational Islamic concept of Divine Oneness, as a comprehensive worldview that bridges logical reasoning with deep spiritual experience. The lecture series will move from establishing the rational demonstrability of God’s unity to examining how this belief must manifest in right action and a conscious internal light – the practice of sharī‘ah at the level of iħsān. By contrasting this perspective with the human-centric focus of secular humanism, the series will highlight a return to man’s primordial nature and the ancient covenant of monotheism. Ultimately, the lecture series aim to guide students toward the state of servanthood, which is presented as the highest realisation of human potential and the key to maintaining a constant awareness of the Divine Presence. For phase one, Dr. Roslan Jelani will begin with the NATURE OF GOD and each topic in this phase will be covered in 2-4 sessions. The topics in this phase are as follows: 1.
